Biography of Kathy L. Henry

Kathy L. Henry was born to a young mother and a military father. She lived a very turbulent childhood. At the age of 3, her mother abandoned her feeling she had no other choice after suffering in an abusive relationship. Following Kathy was placed in several homes, none of which she could call her own. Rejection became her reality and later, her worst fear.

As she grew her childhood troubles loomed in the dark recesses of her subconscious, crippling her in her relationships and causing dark bouts of depression. Would she ever be Free?

Eight Years ago, she was stricken with yet another depressive state, one that almost caused her to end her life. This is when she reunited with a long lost friend from her childhood.

This 'friend' witnessed her childhood troubles and became her only confidant. However, somewhere along the way, they lost touch. She lived her life, he lived his, and although many times their paths crossed, sometimes even being in the same room at the same time, they never knew, as their eyes never met.

Some 20 years later, as she sank deeper inside herself, this 'friend' re-entered her life. She believes in her heart "it was God's way of saving me". This 'friend' walked her through a world of pain and although many times it seemed hopeless, he never left her side. She feels so grateful to have been blessed with such a wonderful man whom she now calls "my very best friend..... my husband".

Today Kathy lives in the country in an old farmhouse where she says she enjoys the most precious things in life, the flowers, the trees, the butterflies, but even more so "the warmth of the sun that touches my face everyday."

And now even though she still experiences some bouts of depression it's never more than she can handle. She uses these lows to create moments of her past and present. This is not her therapy, but her way of touching the world around her with her pain, and with her joy.
